Picnic Returns to Shiflet Pavilion

The Annual Church Picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, at the Shiflet Pavilion on Union Church Road, north of Churchville.  The picnic will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The Membership and Outreach Committee will provide chicken, barbeque, and hot dogs for "children of all ages."  Please bring a covered dish item to share with all.

Directions to Shiflet Pavilion

1. From Staunton, take Rte. 250 west through Churchville
2. Turn right onto Rt. 42 North.
3. Drive 4 miles and turn right on Rte. 736 ... look for the sign to Union Presbyterian Church,
4. Drive 1/2 mile and turn left ... look for sign at the entrance: "The Shiflet Shelter."
5. Follow the road that winds up the hill, through the pasture field.  Watch our for cows -- they have the right of way!  The shelter is at the top of the hill, in the grove of trees.
