Revised Form of Government Task Force
begins work
The
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s newly-expanded
Form of Government Task Force (FOGTF)
concluded a packed, 24-hour meeting today (Aug. 22), the first
gathering of the newly reconfigured task force since this year’s
General Assembly.
The FOGTF chose co-moderators for
the task force: the Reverend Dan Williams (Shenandoah Presbytery)
and Elder Cynthia Bolbach (National Capital Presbytery).

first time post-assemblyThe Form of Government Task Force (FOGTF), expanded in size and loaded with comments from this year’s General Assembly, is scheduled to meet for the first time since the 218th General Assembly adjourned in June to begin revising the original task force’s report. Dan Williams is a member of this committee. [posted 8/5/2008] Property Committee plans Steeple Repairs Sometime last winter, some steeple shingles were damaged by high winds. The Property Committee is taking steps to get the damage repaired.
